The Givat Shmuel Municipality has been pushing the Ministry of Transportation to expand bus access and improve frequency for local residents. There has been success so far with the introduction of Egged Line 145 from Holon (Wolfson Hospital) to Petach Tikva (Kiryat Aryeh Train Station).
A joint announcement by Givat Shmuel mayor, Yosef Barodney and Transportation Minister, Yisroel Katz state that two new bus routes will be established soon, The first line, “61”,  will run towards Tel Aviv via Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, and Givatayim, The second line, “47”, will travel towards Petach Tikva.
Additionally, Kaavim Line 8 – our local loop route that began running four years ago due to City Hall requests – will likely be altered to better meet resident demand.
