It’s hard to come up with quippy one-liners every week, so without further ado, here’s what’s going on in Givat Shmuel:
- It’s the last week of Sunday Night Shiur until November. Rav Taragin canceled, so we’ll be learning in Chavrutot. Bring a laptop to work on your paper if you’re getting academic credit.
- The Iriyah has put together two workshops for next week, one on Pensions and a much-hyped chug on Making Beer. Spots are limited (especially for this latter), so make sure you actually RSVP.
- Monday, July 2nd, there will be a workshop for parents about ‘Teenager Recreational Culture‘ (in Hebrew). Click here to RSVP.
- ICYMI: Ta Tavo’u won the elections for BIU’s Agudat Hastudentim by a 139-student margin. They’ll be hosting their General Assembly this Thursday if you want to find out what they’re all about.
- WE’RE HIRING! That’s right – The GSC is looking for a Development Professional/Fundraiser to start immediately. We also have a ton of board positions to fill (including a Volunteer Coordinator, Treasurer, Social Chair, Chesed Chair, and Torah Chair) for the upcoming academic year, so now’s your chance to get involved!
